Royal Bank of Canada and Bank of Montreal

At RBC I was responsible for designing the majority of the olympian artwork that came through our studio. I took the initiative to develop a catalogue and filing system to manage our photography. This resulted in streamlining everyone's work and time.

RBC has an online marketing system (SPS), set up to allow Financial Planners and Bank Managers to create customized marketing materials. In 2004 RBC adopted a new brand identity. I was given the challenge of creatively redesigning all of their online artwork for this system. In the end I developed the new look for their SPS system and forty-two new templates. Each template had to have a detailed spec sheet created to instruct the programmers how to build it.

In 2005 Bank of Montreal was creating a similar system to RBC's SPS. BMO's was called Local Initiatives Online (LI Online). I was sourced by BMO specifically because of my talent and work ethics demonstrated at RBC. I was hired as a System Administrator/Data Manager. This job involved very intensive testing and html coding. I had to collaborate with external vendors and departments within BMO. I also managed BMO's final LI Online site and an internal site which supported LI Online. I had to create timelines for my department and four other business units involved. By the time I left BMO, I had helped build 130+ pieces of artwork. These were all built within one year.
